Overview – Grand Kashmir Tour
The Kashmir Tour provides an immersive experience of Azad Kashmir’s natural beauty and cultural legacy. The excursion begins with a pickup from Islamabad and takes you to Saran, where you will explore gorgeous places including Kohala Picnic Point and Kashmir Waterfall, as well as enjoy panoramic views from Pir Chinasi. The drive continues to Keran, a lovely hamlet on the Neelum River that is famous for its scenic beauty and the Neelum-Jhelum Project. From there, head to the beautiful Ratti Gali Lake, which is known for its high-altitude beauty and tranquil waters.
The trip then takes you to Arrang Kel, which is a short climb from Kel and offers breathtaking views as well as an opportunity to learn about local culture. Travel to the distant town of Taobutt to experience traditional life and breathtaking scenery. Return to Kel to explore the adjacent waterfalls and streams before continuing to the Upper Neelum Huts for a peaceful overnight in the verdant upper valley. The experience continues with excursions to Baboon Meadow and Patlian Lake, as well as picturesque pauses at Karka and Jabri. Finish your adventure with a city tour of Muzaffarabad, where you’ll see historical sights including the Red Fort and local marketplaces.
