Itinerary – Basha Valley Tour
The itinerary for the Basha Valley Tour is given below.
Day 02: Drive to Basha Valley
On this Day
After an early breakfast, drive to the Basha Valley for three hours, passing via the scenic upper Shigar Valley. Along the journey, visit Tisar, a charming town on the Basha River's south bank. Pass through the police checkpoint and continue to Chutran, a lovely village famous for its medicinal hot springs. Take some time to relax in the therapeutic waters and explore the terraced fields encircled by the breathtaking peaks of the Haramosh Range. Stay overnight in Chutran, either camping or at a small guesthouse.
Day 03: Explore Basha Valley
On this Day
Spend the day enjoying Basha Valley's magnificent vistas and cultural charm. Begin with a hike to Hemesil Waterfall, a beautiful cascade nestled among thick flora. Continue to Dogoro village, where you can visit classic Balti dwellings and meet the friendly residents. In the afternoon, visit Bisil Hamlet, famous for its hot springs and gorgeous surroundings. Enjoy the calm of the valley while taking in the breathtaking mountain vistas. Return to Chutran or stay in Bisil for the night.
Day 04: Visit Nearby Famous Valley Attractions
On this Day
Today, visit neighboring sites to discover more about the region's natural beauty. Travel to Arindo, the last settlement in Basha Valley, which is surrounded by a natural environment and glaciers. Take a short stroll through the difficult terrain to see the diverse flora and fauna. If time allows, visit the distant settlements of Zil and Sesko, which are reachable via cable carts or vine bridges, for an amazing cultural experience. Return to your campsite or motel for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Drive to Skardu
On this Day
After breakfast, drive return to Skardu, retracing your steps through the scenic valley. Along the route, make photo stops to explore the stunning vistas of towering peaks, deep gorges, and tranquil river views. When you get to Skardu, relax for the evening. You may visit Shangrila Resort or take a stroll through the local bazaar. Stay the night at Skardu.
Day 06: Fly to Islamabad
On this Day
You'll fly back to Islamabad, capping off your journey in the heart of the Karakoram. If traveling by car, the trip back to Islamabad will take approximately 20 to 22 hours. When you arrive in Islamabad, the tour will formally finish, leaving you with lasting memories of the breathtaking Basha Valley.
