Itinerary – Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The itinerary for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is noticeable below.

Duration: 6-7 hours

On the second day, take an early breakfast and ready to leave for Pokhara. The bus ride to Pokhara takes you through Nepal's gorgeous pastoral scenery. Throughout the tour, you will see massive hills, distant mountain views, rural communities, terraced farmland, and fast-flowing rivers. You will arrive at Pokhara, the city of lakes and mountain splendor, after admiring this stunning view. Check into your hotel, and if you're feeling energetic, take an evening walk about the lakeside city.

Distance: 9 km

Walking Duration: 4 hours

Wake up early, have breakfast, and prepare for the long walk today. Your target for today is Tikhe Dhunga, and you'll start by driving to Nayapul via Lumle. The travel takes roughly 90 minutes and passes through tiny communities.

Similarly, hiking to Annapurna Base Camp begins at Nayapul, so prepare to travel through verdant slopes and a beautiful bamboo forest. The first stop on today's walk is Birethanti. You may have a cup of tea while observing the herds of mules hauling things here. You continue your adventure by walking by flowing waterfalls, lovely terraced farms, and communities. The trek is hilly; you will rise via Ranghai before descending to Tikhedunga, where you will spend the night.

Distance: 13 km

Walking Duration: 7 hours

Today's travel is rather long. A nice breakfast is served before leaving Tikhedhunga for Ghorepani. After crossing a suspension bridge, you will come across steep stone stairs that lead to Ulleri, a picturesque Magar settlement. Approach the path with caution because it is a hard ascent. Taking on the verdant fields, you reach the peak of Ulleri Hill, which leads to a campsite where you may have a short but essential respite.

After the break, continue hiking until you reach Nangethanti for lunch. Following the route, you will reach the traditional village of Ghorepani. Throughout the journey, you will be treated to spectacular mountain landscapes.

Distance: 9 km

Duration: 6-7 hours

Today's program includes a short climb to the iconic Poon Hill for a spectacular dawn vista over the massive Annapurna mountain. After taking in the breathtaking scenery, return to the hotel, eat a delicious breakfast, and begin your journey into Tadapani. Hike up the slope and through a lovely rhododendron woodland before arriving in Tadapani.

Distance: 8.5 km

Duration: 5 hours

You leave Tadapani today and hike to Chomrong village. The trip to Chomrong is a slow downhill that includes crossing suspension bridges, trekking through rhododendron woodland, and hiking across corn fields. Because the path mainly runs through lush rainforests, birds become a companion and source of intrigue. Watching their bright wings flutter as they leap from one branch to another is a pleasant sight. Admiring these creatures, you will ultimately arrive at Chomrong, where communities spread across the hillside, with major mountains such as Huinchuli, Machapuchare, and Annapurna South rising over the town.

Distance: 9 km

Duration: 5 hours

We'll say farewell to Chomrong's genuine hospitality and make our way to Dovan. The elevation rise is significantly more than on prior days, so proceed with caution. You will climb down 2500 stone stairs and cross the Chhomrong River on a suspension bridge. After that, rise along a difficult trekking trail to Sinuwa hamlet before continuing through the thick forest to Kuldahar (2540m). From Kuldahar, drop to Bamboo and then gradually rise to Dovan.

Distance: 7.8 km

Duration: 4 hours

After saying goodbye to Dovan, you take a peaceful path through an emerald-green grove of bamboo and rhododendrons towards Deurali. The trekking trail is lined with prayer flags, which provide a bright touch to the surroundings.

Before you continue your trek, take time to savor the distinct atmosphere. The woodland gradually vanishes, leaving a bleak landscape scattered with pebbles and scree in its wake. When you pass by the Himalayan Hotel, you'll know you're getting near to your goal. Continue ascending past this landmark to Hinku Cave, which served as a refuge and overnight break for previous Annapurna expeditions. Your journey for today ends at Deurali.

Distance: 8 km

Duration: 5–6 hours

Today is the most anticipated day of our lengthy trek. You will eventually arrive at Annapurna Base Camp today. The day's excursion begins by climbing a riverbed and traveling to Annapurna Sanctuary. Today's elevation increase is significant, so proceed with caution and avoid rushing the hike. The hiking path also follows the Modi Khola track, which will eventually lead you to Macchapuchre Base Camp. Pause at Machhapurchhre Base Camp to appreciate the Himalayan landscapes around the region. After a time, leave the splendors of MBC and walk another 2 hours to Annapurna Base Camp. The reality of coming to the base camp becomes more apparent when giants' perspectives are so near to your eyes. The base camp is surrounded by towering peaks from the Annapurna range and adjacent ranges.

Distance: 18 km

Duration: 7 hours

Today, we say goodbye to the spectacular Annapurna Base Camp and go to Bamboo. Please keep your walking speed under control as we drop to a low altitude. To reach the remote settlement of Bamboo, descend to Modi Khola by the same route that led to the base camp. The village is surrounded by mountains, so enjoy the panoramic beauty.

Distance: 12 km

Duration: 6 hours

Today, you'll descend to Jhinu Danda Hot Springs. The route to Jhinu Danda descends over forested hills into Chomrong via Khuldighar. From Chomrong, the trail becomes steeper as it descends into Jhinu Danda. While there, pay a visit to the experimental sheep farm, which provides a look into the life of a herder in Nepal's highlands. Observing these intriguing parts of rural life will lead you to Jhinu Danda.

A natural hot spring may be reached by hiking down for about a half-hour from this point. This is the perfect place to unwind and let the stresses of the day wash over you.

Duration: 2 hours

Now that you've seen the Himalayas, your hiking vacation is almost finished. We cross the suspension bridge and then go to Pokhara in a jeep, which takes around 2 hours.

After completing your trek, you will take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Note:

If you are bored of the long bus ride, you may fly to Kathmandu for an additional expense. A one-way flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu costs USD 100.00 per person. The option is yours. Nonetheless, it would result in an extra cost.

Today signals the end of the journey. Our office representative will arrive at your trip hotel around 3 hours before your departure flight to bring you to the airport.
