The five firms offering 3G and 4G mobile internet services in Karachi are Zong, Jazz, Ufone, Telenor, and SCOM. They all sell SIM cards to travelers from other countries. Find out how to get sim cards in Karachi as a tourist!
Zong: Zong provides postpaid and prepaid SIM cards to international customers. Additionally, you are only eligible for a maximum of two SIM cards, and each card’s validity must coincide with that of your POC or Visa.
Jazz: It will cost you 300 Pakistani Rupees (PKR) to register and activate a Jazz sim card. Even if there are price differences, you can purchase both postpaid and prepaid services.
Telenor: You will need to pay an extra 200 Pakistani Rupees (PKR) to activate and register a prepaid SIM card from Telenor. Both postpaid and prepaid sim cards are available for purchase from them.
Ufone: You still have the choice to purchase both postpaid and prepaid services from Ufone, even though the two forms of service range in price.
SCOM: Prepaid and postpaid SIM cards are offered by this government-owned corporation. The finest places to use it are in the north.
