Pakistan tourist visa is no longer difficult to attain. As part of the personal interest of Pakistan’s Prime Minister and changing government strategy in promoting tourism as a means of generating revenue, Pakistan government is providing three options for foreigner tourists to apply for Pakistan tourist visa.

1. Pakistan Online Visa (E-Visa) (effective since May 1, 2019)
2. Visa on Arrival Pakistan (effective since May 1, 2019)
3. Apply at Pakistani embassies/consulates

Citizens of countries listed here are eligible to apply for this visa.

Visa on Arrival

• To avail the Tourist Visa On Arrival, you must be a citizen of countries listed here.
• Foreign nationals of Indian origin are also eligible to apply under this category for religious tourism purposes.
• Tour operators approved by the Pakistan Directorate of Tourist Services (DTS) may be allowed to bring Tourist Groups under this category.

Duration and Validity of Pakistan Tourist Visa

Online Visa (E-Visa)

• Single/Double Entry for short duration less than 3 months (First Time entry).
• Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
• Citizens from these countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
• A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 Months or more, subject to approval.

Visa on Arrival

• Tourist Visa On Arrival is valid for up to 3 months.
• Nationals of Malaysia, Turkey and UAE may be granted a 30-day, multiple-entry visa upon arrival

• Entry (Up to 3 Months) : 7-10 Days
• Extension (Up to 6 Months) : 7-10 Days
• Extension (Greater than 6 Months) : 4 Weeks

Visa on Arrival

• 48 hours
